1172cc, manual. This Ford Popular 103E was registered on 1st March 1956 and its V5C records just two former keepers. The first owner held onto the car for 25 years and the second for another 40. It survives in smart condition inside and out, and has been upgraded with 12-volt electrics and flashing indicators for improved safety. A stainless steel exhaust is fitted.

The car had an advisory-free MoT which expired in August. The vendor tells us that it had been driving well until he recently changed the head gasket, at which point it developed what he believes is a timing problem that he has not been able to resolve. As a result, the Popular is currently a non-runner and is being offered as a project requiring mechanical attention.
